Single Sign On solution
The bioPortal
is an easy to use 'Single Sign On' . You select your
desired 'System' (see below) and put your finger on the biometric device.
The
system will be launched with the profile of the uniquely
identified user. Another scenario could be that multiple
people would access just one system but always on different
computers (doctors in a hospital) In this scenario it could
work as easy as walking in the room and putting the finger
on the sensor. You could even use different fingers to log
onto different systems.
The bioPortal was originally designed so our
bioLock customers could access multiple SAP Systems with biometrics.
Later we extended the functionality and partnered with Siemens
to deliver a complete 'Single Sign On' solution to all systems
independent from SAP...
