Implementing and Maintaining SAP User Authorizations

APM is the ultimate tool for implementing and maintaining the authorization concept. By generating only minimal authorization for End-User Role, APM sustains the structure of the authorization concept and allows savings in terms of cost and effort. According to EnBW, one of Europe’s largest utility companies, APM saved 60% in the effort for setting up user roles (see below). APM’s Process Analysis function enables Administrator to define and audit the combinations of critical authorizations, i.e. Segregation of Duties, possessed by User or Role. The Risk Analysis provides pro-active identification of critical authorization while creating or maintaining role.
